A set of 4 Danish Mid-century Modern dining room chairs by Nanna and Jørgen Ditzel
Nanna and Jørgen Ditzel designed these refined chairs in 1954 for the Kold family in Kerteminde, Denmark. They owned Møbelfabriken A/S Kolds Savværk, which put the chairs into production.
These gorgeous chairs are rarely for sale and are much rarer than, for example, the dining room chairs by Niels Otto Møller or Hans J. Wegner.
You will struggle to find another set of these teak and woven cane chairs.
I am offering the chairs in restored condition, the joints have been re-glued, the wood has been sanded and re-oiled and the seats have been re-woven with new cane. One of the chairs has a small chip on one of the legs, which is filled with hard wax.
